Training of Electrical Safety in Aung Myin Thar Resettlement Village

This training was started with a description about the principles of hydropower generation and transmission addressed by engineers from ACHC by taking Chipwi Nge HPP as example and via video and 3D movies of the HPP; Daw Moe Moe Aye, a senior engineer from EPGE, vividly told the basic requirements on electrical safety and knowledge about electrical inspection, method of screening for potential safety hazards, power supply quality and reliability with a large number of cases. After this, engineers also earnestly answered the questions concerned by villagers, and gave relevant recommendations.

After the training, U Zaw La, a member of the Committee of Maliyan Resettlement Village, said in an interview with reporters that everyone relied on power supply; ACHC cared about our electrical safety and conducted relevant trainings on villagers every year, and we learned a lot from these trainings. Moreover, ACHC kept providing free water, electricity and rice to us and holding soccer games and fun sports meetings for us. Now ACHC was planning to guide the villagers to carry out trainings on textile processing and papaya planting, which indicated that ACHC made great efforts to meticulously care for our livelihood and long-term development. We sincerely hoped that the power generated by ACHC would light up every family in Myanmar and benefit for the public all over Myanmar!

Interpretation of Principle of Hydropower Generation

ACHC holds training of electrical safety in the Resettlement Village every year as one of ACHC’s many ways to benefit for the local people, for the purpose of telling knowledge about electrical safety to communities and the public and guaranteeing everyone’s life and property security. This training has been held for 6 years in a row by now. Through tireless efforts, both the communities and the public are knowing the electrical safety more and more, having effectively reduced the accidents related to electrical safety. Many of the villagers participate in electricity safety management consciously.
