  • Award Ceremony of Thematic Painting of "My and Kachin State's Bright Future"

    On December 1, 2014, the award ceremony of thematic painting and essay competition of "My and Kachin State's Bright Future" jointly organized by ACHC and Myanmar Myitsone Resettlement Village School was grandly held in auditorium of Myitsone Aung Myin Thar Resettlement Village School. The company representatives awarded prizes to 43 awarded teachers and students. About 600 teachers and students participated in the ceremony.

  • 2015 Chinese Cultural Trip Tengchong Summer Camp of Myanmar Teachers and Students

    In April 2015, 40 teachers and students of Love Orphan Center in Mangken, Myitkyina and Aung Myin Thar Resettlement Village Middle School, went to Yunnan, China to participate in 6-day activity of "2015 Chinese Cultural Trip Tengchong Summer Camp" under the organization of ACHC.

    I am a daughter of a clinic doctor in Tan Hpea, graduated from Teachers College. The scholarship provided by ACHC lets us firstly have the opportunities to go out to go to university. The number of undergraduates here increases to 18 from 0. After graduation, I came back to the village. Now, I am a general teacher of the third grade of Resettlement Village Primary School.

  • The Hope Illuminating Both Sides of Ayeyawady River

    Kachin State, the northernmost state of Myanmar, is located about 800 kilometers away from Kunming, China to the west, where the land is carpeted by endless mountains and forests. Kachin State is situated at the upstream of Ayeyawady River, a river called "the River of Grace" by Myanmese. It is one of the areas suffering from severe electricity shortage in Myanmar.
