Aung Myin Thar Resettlement Village Held the First Fun Games


To further enrich the cultural and sports life of immigrants and enhance the interaction and communication among villagers, from March 18 to 19, ACHC organized the first SPIC sponsored Fun Games with the village committee of Aung Myin Thar Resettlement Village. The Games lasted two days and included 16 interesting events such as tug-of-war, backing child race, 100-meter race, shot put and musical chairs. The three media, Myawady, Skynet and EPN, followed up the whole process.

Myitkyina County Sports Bureau, Myitkyina Town Sports Bureau and other guests attended the opening ceremony of the Games and watched the competition. U Ye Htut of Myitkyina County Sports Bureau said in his speech that the SPIC Games greatly enriched the lives of the villagers, further improved the people's physique and promoted the harmonious and healthy development of Aung Myin Thar Village.

People in the Village, men or women, old or young, play together. The scorching sunshine could not stop their enthusiasm for the competition, which not only excelled their sports level, but also deepened their friendship. The villagers’ faces were full of sweat but permeated with happiness and joy. In the tug-of-war competition, the ACHC team competed with the three teams from the Village and won the second place.

In recent years, ACHC has organized movie playing, knowledge competitions for power science popularization, football matches with sponsorship, fun games and other activities in the Village. It has set up a library in Aung Myin Thar Resettlement Village, equipped with books on agricultural cultivation and breeding, which has effectively enriched the amateur cultural life and promoted the overall spiritual civilization construction in the Village.
