The 2018 Annual Conference on China’s Corporate Sustainable Competitiveness is themed by “International Operation, Sustainable Development”. The award ceremony for China’s outstanding corporates with sustainable competitiveness was held on this annual conference, where 38 companies won the Outstanding Enterprise Award for Overseas Sustainable Practice respectively.

Since its establishment, ACHC adheres to the concept of “dedicating to green and clean energy, serving the public of Myanmar, and promoting sustainable development”, and it has actively fulfilled its social responsibility. The company manages to promote Myanmar’s economic development and creates a harmonious and stable community environment by providing Myanmar with green and clean energy, strengthening communication and exchanges with the stakeholders, promoting localization management, and carrying out public benefit activities, thus contributing to the sustainable development of China’s corporates in “going global”. ACHC stood out from many overseas candidates and won the 2018 Outstanding Enterprise Award for Overseas Sustainable Practice.

The selection of the “China’s outstanding corporates with sustainable competitiveness” was jointly sponsored by the Social Responsibility Specialized Committee of Chinese Institute of Business Administration and Beijing Rongzhi Corporate Social Responsibility Institute. 10 awards in total were set up to explore the sustainable development practices of Chinese enterprises, especially the practical experience in international competition, and contribute China’s experience and wisdom to the “go global” strategy of China’s corporates and the realization of sustainable development. The selection consists of the three steps of enterprise information collection, preliminary evaluation by the organization committee, and the re-evaluation by experts. Conducted from a perspective of the third party, the selection was mainly based on the collected public information of enterprises and the recommendations from industry experts. In 2018, more than 300 qualified enterprise practices were collected, hitting an all-time record.
