Because of the acceptance of 152 students who left their hometown, the Aung Myin Thar Resettlement Village Middle School in Myitsone Hydropower Station was facing the difficulties of insufficient desks and chairs. After knowing this situation, ACHC handed over 600 sets of desks and chairs to Aung Myin Thar Resettlement Village on September 26 to solve the urgent problem of the school in time. The Aung Myin Thar Resettlement Village Committee and more than 300 students from the school attended the handover ceremony.

At the ceremony, children clustered around the new desks and chairs, very excited. “We are grateful for the company to give us desks and chairs, and provide us with a better learning environment; we will cherish and study hard!” The joy of the children affected everyone who attended the ceremony. U La Ram, a member of Aung Myin Thar Resettlement Village Committee, and U Kyaw Soe, the representative of the middle school, expressed their gratitude to the company for helping the school solve the actual difficulties of insufficient desks and chairs.

ACHC has always being taking “contributing green energy, and serving the public” as the concept of corporate social responsibility, and fulfilling it in practical actions. Next, ACHC will continue carrying out various activities such as scholarship distribution and knowledge competition, pay close attention to the growth of each child of the migrant village, and encourage them to study harder, thus passing on the love to more people.
